BMW of North America recently revealed that the ChargeNow by EVgo programs – including ChargeNow DC Fast –are expanding to more than 50 metro areas across the United States. Once completed, the expansion will provide over 92 percent of BMW i3, i8 and iPerformance owners in the United States the chance to enroll in and make use of of a program that has been tailored to their vehicle.

EVgo charging stations are thoughtfully placed on well traveled roads near shopping and dining destinations. After they enroll, drivers can find EVgo chargers either by using the BMW Connected app or the vehicle's navigation system, and they can then use the ChargeNow card was provided with their vehicle to access either nearby EVgo stations or ChargeNow by EVgo no-cost or reduced-cost public charging stations.

In a release, Cliff Fietzek, Manager Connected eMobility at BMW of North America, LLC, noted, “The pace at which we have been making charging infrastructure partnership announcements recently shows that BMW continues to aggressively pursue the company’s commitment to our e-mobility customers, with our steadfast support for growing the public charging infrastructure across the U.S.”
