As you likely gathered from our favorite automaker's offerings at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, we've got a whole lot to look forward to here at BMW Portland. Then again, that's not to say that things haven't been going famously these last nine months. Because now that September's sales numbers are in, it's time once again to break open the bubbly.

Speaking of the last nine months, BMW just reported sales of 212,565 vehicles in the US from January through September, a 14% year-over-year increase from their sales in the first three quarters of 2012. As far as last month's sales are concerned, they had an 8.3% sales increase thanks to the 23,568 units they shipped.

Needless to say, October's got its work cut out for it, but with 31 sales days in the month to consider, something tells us there's good news on the horizon.

"September was unusual because of significantly fewer selling days than August, so the more than 8% increase for BMW . . . [is] further fueling BMW Group momentum going into the final quarter of the year," says Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO at BMW of North America. "October means arrival of the new [BMW X5], a full month for the new [BMW 4-Series] and the full range of new diesel engines in our [BMW 3-Series] and [BMW 5-Series] cars."1

So if you'd like to learn more about the new arrivals that will be making their way to our dealership, we'd be happy to fill you in. Or if you'd rather go for a spin in one of the best-sellers on our lot, your test drive awaits you here in Portland, OR.
